Recently I was in a discussion of  how New Braunfels got drawn into the San Antonio MPO.  Along those lines, I saw this article

in the Express - News.  In particular, the picture of the lights from space was a great visual for the connectedness of the SA Metro area.  Actually, that's just an amazing picture with all sorts of implications.
